Snow buddies

Snowman Scene Digital Stamp

This week's challenge is embossing! I love my embossing folders, it's such a great look and really dresses up a simple card.

A snowman isn't complete until he's got some glitter somewhere! I added some squiggley lines with my crystal effects then sprinkled crystal glitter over the ground.

Before I put the card together I used a sponge and ink pads to add some color to the embossed areas. I used 2 different snowflake embossing folders.

Now it's your turn, click the badge at the top to head over and see the rest of the inspiration and link up your own creation!

Fairy Shelly

No automatic alt text available.

Hello, today is my day to share with you a project from our wonderful sponsor.
The file I chose is called Fairy Shelly.

I made her a tad larger than my card, which I turned into a twisted easel.
Isn't' she adorable? I just love her.
This is what the card looks like when open. I created a fun beach scene inside and used a gorgeous bow as the easel prop.

Happy fall

Pumpkin Racoon Digital Stamp
Hello! I am here today to share my card with this week's challenge.
It's a fun one, anything goes! So I went with a fun new cut file from Creative Kuts and added one of my favorite fall images.
I mirrored and duplicated so I had 2 pumpkins that would show in the center of my card when it's closed.
I used my gel pens to add some dots and faux stitching.

Inside you get the raccoons peaking out with the message that I hand wrote with my gel pen.

I'm late posting this, I was working last week to get posts ready in anticipation of Hurricane Irma and ran out of time.  I had the pieces cut and colored I just had to assemble.  So after the storm passed I finished my card and now that we have power again after 4 days of none, I wanted to get this posted and make sure you join us in the challenge.

12 months of Christmas

This month's theme is a photo inspiration.
I love Christmas trees, they are so nice to look at, so many colors and pretty images.
These are the papers you could win when you link up with us.

I made 2 cards using different papers. I think this one follows the inspiration photo closer, these are past papers I used along with my pretty cardinal from Sparkle and Sprinkle.
Here is the hyper link for the website:

This card I used the papers for this month. I think it's pretty.
I kept them simple again due to postage costs.  I tried laying out different embellishments but felt with the design it took away from the overall look.

Life is sweet

This was the progressive challenge image for August from Bloobel. You can check out all the cute images here.
It's a tad creepy but I think it's pretty cool!

Design Team

I am using the adorable book worm stamp today.
I stamped him 3 times, on white glossy paper, on green and again on red.
I cut out the pieces and glued them together, adding some white gel pen and crystal effects.

I used some fun school theme papers and a fabric flower.
Simple and pretty cute if I say so myself.

Be sure to head to the shop and see what's new!

Emily's birthday!

Our baby is 8!! I just can't believe how fast time goes.
9/9/09 at 9:44 pm she came into this world and it's been a wonderful journey with her.

Joann's has Emoji pillows, there is one that is a blue poop emoji, Emily waned it and thought it was so funny. I didn't think the pillows were made well and not worth $5.
I came up with my own pattern. I drew out the graph and made her a pillow.
I had her pick out the yarns without her knowing what I was making.

Who doesn't love mermaids? I made this pretty box for her to keep some trinkets in.

And what girl doesn't need a unicorn headband?

Salt water Taffy throw

I had to make another candy stripe blanket as soon as I saw this Retro Stripe yarn from Red Heart.
It reminded me of salt water taffy and the Minty goes perfectly with it.

I did a swirl with this one keeping it stacked instead of staggered like my red and green one.
I  really love it and of course Emily is claiming it for her own.
Kids...gotta love them.

Thanks again to Crochet Crowd for this pattern.
